TOPTILES COMPOSITION MANUFACTURE |

All TopTiles products are manufactured from high quality
SABS approved cement aggregates with pigments to provide through colours. An
acrylic finish could be applied to suppress the risk of efflorescence and
reduce capillary action leading to improved performance of the tiles. Smooth
faced tiles have a pigmented smooth finish embedded into the surface thus
ensuring a regular run-off of any water application. The tiles remain
unaffected by the normal range of climatic conditions.

TOPTILES are to be fitted in accordance with the
requirements of the NHBRC home building manual.
The following conditions should be taken into account in determining the
fixing requirements for TOPTILES: |
1. degree of exposure
2. height of roof at eaves
3. pitch of roof
4. wind loading at gables and verge
5. building size
|

Where rafter lengths exceeds 10 mtrs in length and the site is of severe
exposure, guidance should be obtained from the technical department of
the NHBRC.
